The days are getting short, dark, and cold…boo! So I’ve decided to add a bit of flavour to my weekends by creating delicious recipes. I will share these with you every other Sunday, in a feature post called: yummy sunday. I hope you also get inspired to create your own recipes and maybe try some of mine. I would love to read about your yummy sundays too.
Today, an easy one:
Time: 10 minutes
Serves: 3-4 people
210g of canned or bottled chickpeas
75g of Tahini
2tbsp of the chickpeas cooking liquid
1 large garlic glove
2tbsp of lemon juice
1/2 tsp of cumin seeds
- Gently fry the garlic and the cumin seeds in a 1bsp of olive oil, don’t let the garlic burn. Leave it to rest.
- In a food processor mix the chick peas, the Tahini, and the precooked garlic and cumin seeds. Add the lemon juice, the chickpea cooking liquid, and salt to taste.
That’s it! you can then enjoy it with pieces of fresh baguette and some cut-out crunchy vegetable.
